Ana Vivoda is born 1979 in Rijeka. In 2002 she graduated from the Department of
Visual Arts of the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Rijeka, finished her postgraduate
studies (Project Studies) at the Royal University College of Fine Arts in Stockholm, Sweden,
completed Doctoral studies at Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, Croatia.
Works as associate professor at the University in Zadar. She was a guest at the
University of the West of Scotland, UK, University of Porto, Portugal, Academy of Applied
Arts, University in Rijeka, Croatia, Faculty of Arts, University of Niš, Serbia, where she held
several lectures in the field of visual arts.
Ana Vivoda is a member of the Croatian Association of Artists (HDLU) in Zagreb.
She held nine solo exhibitions (Croatia, Spain, Serbia) and has participated in numerous
collective exhibitions in the country and over one hundred international exhibitions in the
country and abroad (International Print Triennial Krakow, Guanlan International Print
Biennial China, German International Exhibition of Graphic Art Frechen, International
Graphic Biennial Splitgrafic, New Prints exhibitions at International Print Center New York,
International Biennial Print and Drawing Exhibition, Taiwan, International Competition of
Contemporary Art, Alicante, Spain, International Artist Book Biennial Egypt). She received
many national and international prizes and acknowledgements; Award of the Graphics
Cabinet of HAZU (Croatian Academy of Science & Arts) at the 3rd Croatian Graphics
Triennial, Award at 2nd International Contemporary Engraving Festival, Bilbao, Spain,
Honorary mention International Print Biennial Jose Guadalupe Posada, Mexico, Award 8th
Splitgraphic, Split, Croatia, Award 52nd Zagreb salon, Zagreb, Croatia.
