“I consider it important to feel accompanied along the path as an artist. Although the creation process is often something very solitary and introspective, it is necessary to generate this kind of encounters, where sharing and connecting with other artists also enriches your work. Synergies, exchanges of thoughts, perspectives and ways of doing things between artists are created”.

The creative process is usually introspective and solitary, but for the artist Desirée Moreno, taking part in Open Portfolio Bilbao meant exactly the opposite: a space for sharing, connecting and continuing to grow.

“From the very beginning a very pleasant atmosphere is generated, of trust and friendship. The environment is very familiar.”

Desirée highlights the importance of generating this type of meeting: spaces where thoughts, perspectives and ways of doing things can be exchanged with other artists. But also the opportunity to bring your work closer to the public, to tell and explain it in the first person:
