In my artistic practice, I operate mostly in intaglio techniques, especially etching and soft ground. My main inspiration comes from nostalgia, which I interpret as a return to a familiar space that shelters us from rush and overload from the cruel world. In my creative process, I construct collages from family albums, from which I select photographs, remove them from their con-text, and transform them into independent compositions.

My prints develop slowly. Through the process of drawing ma-trix, I focus on creating rhythmic and complex lines, which be-come their own small systems. I merge ornamental landscapes with meticulously drawn figuration and abstract forms. I work with layers, combining several different matrices and materials. During my residency in Knoxville, I had the opportunity to learn the technique of chine-collé, and since then it has become an essential part of my work. With my prints, I want to draw atten-tion to fleeting moments and encourage viewers to take a break from the surrounding chaos. I interpret this as an escape from information noise into a selected space, cleansed of fear and anxiety.
