Syarthowi

Walid Syarthowi Basmalah graduated as Bachelor of Arts in the Graphic Arts Department, Faculty of Fine Arts IKJ in 2010. Then continued his master's education at the same institution from 2012 to 2015. Now he teaches as one of the lecturers at IKJ from 2011 until now.
In general, the works produced by Walid use filter printing techniques and conduct new media experiments into installation works. His interest in domestic themes, environmental phenomena and urban social are the colors for each of his works. In addition to actively exhibiting nationally and internationally, he also actively provides workshops for children with special needs.
