Join the International Meeting on Emerging Graphic Art — a space that combines exhibition, learning and professional exchange
The OPEN Portfolio platform is entering the final stretch of the call for its 12th edition. The deadline to apply is Sunday, July 21 at 23:59 (CET). After eleven years of continuous work, this initiative has become an international reference in the field of emerging printmaking.
Over the years, more than 250 artists from across continents have taken part in OPEN, consolidating the initiative as a platform that supports artistic growth and gives visibility to new voices in contemporary printmaking.
This year, from September 26 to 28, Sala Rekalde (Bilbao) will host the 14 selected artists, who will share their work, techniques and experiences in a public, open environment.
Would you like to take part in OPEN Portfolio’s 12th edition? Here’s what to include in your digital portfolio:
- Full name
- Phone number and email address
- Portfolio, website or social media
- Artist statement or bio (max. 1 page)
- 5 to 8 high-quality images of your work
- Technical sheet: title, year, dimensions and technique
Tip: keep your dossier clean and easy to read. Use clear images and explain your work well — this is your professional introduction to people who don’t know you yet, so make it polished and coherent.
The jury’s decision will be communicated via email the week of July 21 and published on our website and social media.
